Entertainment and Culture for Climate Action (ECCA) is a global collaborative uniting stakeholders across the creative industries to implement the goals of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Paris Agreement. The ECCA recognises the important role that art and culture plays in driving positive climate action. The initiative is involved in organising the Entertainment and Culture Pavilions at the COPs. It plans to extend its influence by promoting sustainable media production practices and supporting climate conscious storytelling through initiatives like the UN Film and Television Steering Committee.

  • Marrakech Partnership for Global Climate Action (MPGCA)

A collaboration between governments and other stakeholders including, but not limited to, cities, civil society and youth groups to address climate change. The ECCA falls under the MCPGA.

ACE is a term adopted by the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change referring to work to mobilise all of society to address climate change - through education, public awareness and public participation.
